A from scratch taco seasoning to use wherever you would use a standard store-bought taco seasoning. A bit of a kick, but easily modifiable for your heat preferences.

Taco Seasoning
A quick, easy, dry seasoning for use in tacos or other applications.
1tspchipotle chili powder(or to taste, adjust based on heat preferences)
1tspblack pepper
½tspgarlic powder
½tspsmoked paprika
¼tsponion powder
¼tspdried oregano
⅛tspred pepper flakes(or to taste, adjust based on heat preferences)
Instructions
Mix all ingredients together in a small bowl.
To use with ground beef (or other desired taco meat) – Add 3 Tbsp of seasoning per 1 lb of browned meat (drained of fat), with ⅔ cup water. Simmer until sauce is slightly thickened and coating the meat.
