Taco Seasoning
A quick, easy, dry seasoning for use in tacos or other applications.
- 1 Tbsp chili powder
- 1½ tsp cumin
- 1 tsp chipotle chili powder (or to taste, adjust based on heat preferences)
- 1 tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp smoked paprika
- ¼ tsp onion powder
- ¼ tsp dried oregano
- ⅛ tsp red pepper flakes (or to taste, adjust based on heat preferences)
Mix all ingredients together in a small bowl.
To use with ground beef (or other desired taco meat) - Add 3 Tbsp of seasoning per 1 lb of browned meat (drained of fat), with ⅔ cup water. Simmer until sauce is slightly thickened and coating the meat.
