Eggnog French Toast
Equipment
- griddle or frying pan
- small mixing bowl
- whisk or hand mixer
Ingredients
- 4 slices bread
- 2 eggs room temp
- ⅓ cup eggnog store-bought or homemade
- ½ Tbsp brown sugar
- ½ tsp ground cinnamon
- ¼ tsp ground nutmeg optional
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- 2 Tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 Tbsp maple syrup
- butter for cooking
Instructions
- Whisk eggs, eggnog, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla extract, maple syrup, and all-purpose flour together in a small mixing bowl.
- Dredge bread slices in egg mixture.
- Heat butter on griddle or pan over medium heat. Once butter is melted place slices in the pan and cook until medium brown on each side – ideally only flipping once.
- Serve with maple syrup or powdered sugar.
