Eggnog French Toast

- 4 slices bread
- 2 eggs room temp
- ⅓ cup eggnog store-bought or homemade
- ½ Tbsp brown sugar
- ½ tsp ground cinnamon
- ¼ tsp ground nutmeg optional
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- 2 Tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 Tbsp maple syrup
- butter for cooking
Whisk eggs, eggnog, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla extract, maple syrup, and all-purpose flour together in a small mixing bowl.
Dredge bread slices in egg mixture.
Heat butter on griddle or pan over medium heat. Once butter is melted place slices in the pan and cook until medium brown on each side - ideally only flipping once.
Serve with maple syrup or powdered sugar.
