Shiner Steamed Crab Legs

Equipment

  • Large stock pot

Ingredients
  

  • 1-2 lb snow crab legs thawed

Steaming liquid

  • 1 bottle Shiner Bock beer or similar
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 1 Tbsp parsley dried
  • ½ Tbsp garlic powder
  • ½ Tbsp smoked paprika

Seasoned Melted Butter

  • 4 Tbsp butter melted
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp parsley dried

Instructions
 

  • Add all ingredients of the steaming liquid into a large stock pot and bring to a boil, whisking together.
  • Reduce the heat to a low simmer, and add the grab legs. Cover and steam for 10 minutes.
  • While the crab legs are cooking, prepare the seasoned butter.
  • Once cooked, remove crab legs from the pot and serve immediately.
