Jalapeño Popper Crescent Puffs

- 3 oz jalapeno peppers diced (~ 2-4 peppers)
- 8 oz cream cheese softened
- 2 Tbsp sour cream
- 4 slices bacon cooked and finely chopped
- 2 Tbsp green onion finely chopped
- ⅔ cup shredded cheddar cheese separated
- ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 package refrigerated crescent dough
Preheat oven to 375°
In a small pan, gently cook the jalapeno peppers, until softened and lightly browned. Set aside to cool
Roll out crescent dough, and cut into 24 even sized squared. Press lightly into a greased mini-muffin pan.
Separate out 1/2 cup of cheddar cheese to save for later. Mix cheeses, bacon, green onion, and jalapeño. Spoon the filling into the crescent cups, and sprinkle with the remaining cheddar cheese.
Bake for 13 minutes. Allow to cool in the muffin pan slightly before removing.
