Meatloaf Sauce
- 1¼ cup ketchup
- ¼ cup honey
- 1 Tbsp mustard dijon or yellow
- ¾ Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp pepper (1 tsp if you prefer a bit of peppery spice)
Meatloaf
- 2 lb ground beef
- 6 oz Stovetop chicken stuffing mix (1 package)
- 3 eggs
- ⅓ cup meatloaf sauce
Preheat oven to 350°F
In a small bowl whisk together Sauce ingredients.
In a large bowl thoroughly combine Meatloaf ingredients (hand mixing is recommended), saving additional Sauce for topping.
In a greased (see note) loafpan, add your Meatloaf mixture and smooth the top. Pour remaining Sauce over the top and smooth with a spoon or spatula.
Place in preheated oven for 60-75 minutes, or until the internal temperature is 165°F
Allow to cool slightly before serving, refrigerate leftovers.
- Greasing the pan - In this recipe, greasing the pan is optional, however it will assist you in cleanup. I recommend using a flavor-neutral cooking oil such as avocado oil or tallow. You may also line your loaf pan with foil for easier cleanup.
