Corn Flake Clusters
Crispy treats with peanut butter, butterscotch, and white chocolate.
Course Dessert
Cuisine American
- 11 oz butterscotch chips
- ½ cup white chocolate chips
- 24 oz Jif peanut butter
- 18 oz Corn Flakes cereal may use slightly less
Warm saucepan over low heat.
Add butterscotch and white chocolate chips, and gently warm. Add the peanut butter as the chips are just starting to melt. Stir continuously until all chips are fully melted. Remove from heat
Gradually add cereal, folding gently to not crush the flakes. Depending on brand of chips, environmental variables, etc, you may use the entire box, or only half. The goal is to have all of the corn flakes fully coated with the peanut butter mixture, and no residual pools in the saucepan.
Spoon the coated cereal into muffin cups, or a 9x13" pan and allow to set. In warmer climates you may need to move them to a refrigerator and chill to fully set.
