An easy and delicious recipe for the slow cooker. Brisket stews for hours becoming fall apart tender, and then a brief visit under the broiler with a baguette and some cheese, and you'll have a family-pleaser every time.
Prep Time 10 minutes mins
Cook Time 8 hours hrs
- 2-3 lb beef brisket trimmed of fat and cut into 6 pieces
- 1½ medium yellow onions sliced
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 3 Tbsp soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp Better Than Bouillon Beef
- 6 sandwich rolls
- 12 slices Swiss cheese
In a slow cooker, place the brisket, onions, garlic, beef broth, soy sauce, worcestershire sauce, and better than bouillon beef seasoning. Cook on Low for 7 to 8 hours, or until the beef is fall apart tender.

Broil until the cheese melts, replace the tops of each roll, and serve with cooking liquid for dipping if desired.
