Prep Time 5 minutes mins
Cook Time 15 minutes mins
The Dough
- 1 c milk lukewarm
- 1 egg
- 1 Tbsp butter
- 3 c all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- ⅓ cup brown sugar packed
- 1 Tbsp active-dry yeast
- 4-6 Tbsp butter (melted for brushing on rolls later)
Cinnamon Honey Butter
- ½ c salted butter softened but not melted
- ¼ c honey
- 1 tsp cinnamon
Make the Rolls
Place the ingredients in your bread machine in the order given (or recommended by your manufacturer). Set the machine for the dough setting and allow it to run. (Usually a 90 minute cycle)
Lightly grease a 9 x 13" baking pan. Set aside for now
Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and divide and shape into 15 rolls. Either divide the rolls evenly and from into smooth rounds, or roll the dough into an approximately 14"x11" rectangle and cut into 15 equal rectangles. Fold each rectangle in half.
Place the rolls evenly in the pan, allowing a small bit of rising space around each roll. Allow to rise for 30 minutes (or until approximately doubled in size).
Brush the rolls with melted butter and bake at 350° for 15 minutes.
Make the Cinnamon Honey Butter
While the rolls are baking, whisk together the honey butter ingredients until light and fluffy.
Allow the rolls to cool slightly before serving, but best served still warm.
- The folded rectangle method of forming the rolls allows you to simply tear the rolls open to add the cinnamon honey butter.
