Homemade Limeade

An easy recipe for a hot day, and a lot of limes.

Equipment

  • 1 small saucepan
  • pitcher for serving

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup lime juice fresh squeezed
  • 3 cups water cold

Simple syrup

  • 1 cup water hot
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar

Instructions
 

  • Prepare your simple syrup. Combine hot water and granulated sugar in a small saucepan and heat. Stirring until sugar is fully dissolved.
  • Add simple syrup, lime juice, and cold water to a pitcher, stirring to combine. Taste and tweak ratios if necessary depending on tartness of limes.
  • Garnish as desired with herbs (mint), lime slices, etc.
