Cilantro Lime Rice

Keep it simple, and enjoy with your favorite burritos and rice bowls.

Equipment

  • 1 stainless steel pot with lid

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup basmati rice
  • cup water
  • 1 lime zested and juiced (about 2 Tbsp)
  • cup cilantro finely chopped
  • salt to taste

Instructions
 

  • Add uncooked rice and water to your stainless steel pot. Bring the water to a bowl, cover with a lid, and simmer on low for 13 minutes.
  • While the rice is cooking, zest and juice your lime, and chop your cilantro.
  • When the time is up, remove the lid and gently stir the rice, fluffing it up slightly. Add the cilantro, lime, and a pinch of salt. Stir gently to mix and taste, adding more salt if desired.
  • Serve and enjoy.
